The Christian Life--A Matter of Daily Salvation, Amy Chang In the fall of 2000 I was led by the Lord to come to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), a two-year program initiated by a Christian worker, Witness Lee. The focus of the program is to equip students with the Bible truth and train them in the area of church service. The desire to join the program was in me in my freshman year in college, and it grew more and more intense as years went by. During all my college years, I felt a great need to learn the truths in the Bible and to have rich experiences of Christ. I also aspired to learn to properly serve the Lord with other believers in the church. It was such yearning and aspiration that eventually brought me to the FTTA where days are filled with revelations, experiences, enjoyment, and many precious lessons. After being in the Full-Time Training for almost two years, I have to testify that the Lord has really honored my heart and fulfilled its desire. Beside gaining knowledge concerning the Triune God, His eternal purpose, Christ's person and work, the church, the kingdom, and the New Jerusalem, what I've been receiving in these two years is God Himself. The time when God became so real, intimate and undeniable was when I was experiencing the daily, moment-by-moment salvation. This is a precious lesson--being saved in Christ's life in every environment (Romans 5:10). In the past, whenever an unfavorable situation arose, I would murmur, reason, and pray to God to remove my difficulty (Philippians 2:14). I felt I was defeated again and again in my Christian life. But since I came to the Training, I've been spending more time with my dear Lord Jesus. The more I go to Him, the more He saves me from my complaining and unhappiness. He saves me into the enjoyment of the Lord until I can rejoice in Him (Philippians 4:4) even to the point where I'm able to thank Him for His sovereign arrangement of my daily life. This kind of daily salvation is very real and brings me to know my God in a subjective way. I thank the Lord for this wonderful opportunity to attend the Training. He has set me on the path of life and I've begun to walk a normal Christian life. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
